These birds (we call them Brown Thrushes) nested in our white pines this spring, so I have been able to see them up close many times and hear their melodic singing. This one stays in the yard near the edge of the woods, and today I watched her flying up from the ground catching grasshoppers near the coleus bed. Here she is on the obelisk above the gazebo.
