Thanks Anemone and Dennis, the sun rays are definitely the best thing about the photo! :)
Hi Sherry,
You’ve done a superb job of capturing those rays! This really is a very dynamic image.
So, they call the Mountain Laurel “Ivy” in Southern Appalachia? I know about the rhododendron being “laurel”, but I didn’t know about the “ivy.” Thanks for educating me.
Jim
Hi Jim,
Thank you!
lol, yes, we call the laurel “ivy”, and when I hear “laurel” I think of the big leaved shrubs that make the tangled thickets here. Interesting how different areas have different names for these shrubs, isn’t it? :)
Looks like headights:) Very nice!

Hi Doug,
Thank you! I appreciate your comments. Glad you liked those zinnia photos — it was fun to photograph them over several days like that.
Great shot Sherry, I’m still amazed at how often something walks, crawls, slithers or flies into your photos… LOL
LOL Spider! Your comment literally made me laugh out loud. I do get a lot of surprises in my photos sometimes! lol That’s what happens when you always have a camera around your neck outside. :)

Very lovely photo! The illusion is that the jet is pulling strands from the clouds it just passed through.
