Although I’ve heard of it, I have never seen a black cohosh plant. How tall does it get, and does it take part shade or full sun?
Hi Lana,
It’s a native plant here (your area too I’m sure), and I have seen it in almost full shade in the woods, and along the edges where it gets quite a bit of sun. I have mine planted in dappled shade, near a redbud tree. The plant gets about three feet tall and the bloom stalk adds another couple of feet to it. It’s interesting, especially nice when it blooms.
Love your container with the large elephant ear and caladiums! :)
My caladiums are just now emerging, check it out!
