Dazzling foliage! And that perilla is killer. I’ll have to get some of that next year. Along with coleus and sunpatiens. I finally planted a couple simple coleus with deep dark maroon leaves edged in green and it has grown like gangbusters, like in some of your pics! 2.5-3′. It’s in full sun but in a moist area. I haven’t had luck planting them in shade.
Thanks Jim. I like the perilla too, but it does seem to burn a bit in full sun. I agree about the coleus, they always do better for me in more sun, and stay short in shade.
I really like the impations and coleus. I have just started growing coleus plants in the last year or two and I am becoming quite fond of them.
Hi Lana,
Oh I love those sunpatiens, they do so well here. Coleus as well, it’s just so easy to grow and looks good all the way through the season.
Sherry as always your pictures are awesome and shows the love and time you put into your yard.. Everything looks so healthy and your yard must smell heavenly all summer long… Thanks for sharing…
Hi Spider :)
