Wow, dscf0565.jpg is just a magnificent picture of perfection in my book. I wish I could capture red with my camera. It just will NOT render red as red. So frustrating. Granted it’s just a point and click but I’d venture to say it’s near the upper end of point and click cameras. Great collection, thanks for sharing. I have nary a one dahlia in all my garden spaces this year!
Thanks Jim. I’m not sure why the captions won’t show anymore with the photos — wordpress has made so many changes lately and it is so frustrating! It takes me two hours sometimes to make a single post, and I still can’t get the photos thumbnails to line up in the posts! (which is one reason why I haven’t posted much lately) But I digress…
Yes, red is very hard to capture without just looking blurry and over-saturated. Does your camera have a “soft” setting? Sometimes that works well with vibrant, saturated colors.
I have more dahlias than I know what ot do with, lol. I save them from year to year, and they multiply…
These are like flower fireworks! Oooh! Wow! Holy cow!
haha Christine, they are like fireworks, especially the spiky blooms. :)
Even better then fireworks as you can enjoy them day after day all summer long.. Simply awesome..
Hi Spider! Yes, they are enjoyable.
Good to hear from ya :), sorry I’ve been out of touch this summer! Hope you’re having a good one.
what are the knots on my dahlias
