Late evening and just after dark is my favorite time of day in the garden. Solar and candle light make the gazebo and parts of the garden glow. Here are some photos I took one evening this week, including the secret garden and gazebo area. Click to enlarge.

Beautiful and serene. It really makes you want to sit outside in the late evening. Just as long as the bugs aren’t too bad! :o)
Thank you, Jim. It’s definitely my favorite time of day. The bugs are ALWAYS bad here, lol. All my candles and torches are citronella, and I never go out the door without dousing myself in bug repellant. :)
This looks like an enchanted place!
Thanks for your comments, wishjoy. :) I do enjoy that time of day.
Very magical. Why would you ever want to go inside? :)
Christine, I rarely do — unless it’s so hot I can’t stand it any longer! lol

Night gardens are beautiful and magical! White flowers seem to “glow” at night time. The solar lights add a very soft romantic feel to your garden. It would certainly make one want to linger there and enjoy the garden.
