Here are a few more blooms from around my yard this past week. I just can’t keep up with everything this year!

This pink Endless Summer Hydrangea is so pretty this year. I’m sure it’s on the way to becoming blue here in our acid soil, but it sure is pretty halfway there. The camera doesn’t completely capture the purple tone of the blooms.

Sherry, the forest grass and moss rose make a perfect combo! What a vast array of flowering things you have. You must be exhausted.
Thanks Christine. It does get exhausting, especially at planting time, but I’m putting in more and more perennials every year — which means it takes less planting to fill the beds every year. Now if I could just stop making new flower beds… lol
I love love love the shamrock and chartreuse coleus together. I’ve got some chartreuse coleus and I passed the shamrock by the other week. What a mistake. Looks great together.
Hi Jim,
Thanks. I love the shamrocks and use them all over the place in my yard, both the purple and the Iron Cross. They make such nice filler plants, and they do look good with the chartreuse coleus. I was hesitant about the chartreuse coleus at first but I bought a dozen of them and I’m really liking them. They’re definitely a standout in the beds and also go well with dark sweet potato vine in a pot. They almost glow in the dark.. lol
