Hi, my name is Sherry and I am a total blog newbie. :) Although I’m new to blogging, I’m not new to the internet. I’ve been online since January 2000. I have several websites of my own, and have created several for others. I started reading other people’s blogs when I’ve had time in the past year and I have really enjoyed them.. so I decided to start a blog of my own (March 2007). I plan to keep this blog for my own enjoyment, and in the hopes that others may find something interesting here.

I live in the southern U.S., at the edge of a large lake and a national forest. I enjoy summer, flowers, swimming, photography, my dogs (and my cats), my PT Cruiser, television– including reality tv (yes! I admit it, I absolutely love American Idol! lol), music, (especially the 70s and 80s through early-90s stuff, mostly rock and alternative, but really, I love all types), reading (TONS of reading!), and website design.. and although this blog will probably focus mostly on photos and flowers and records of bloom time for my yard and flower gardens, I’ll probably also include a little about my other interests and anything else I’m thinking about.
