New Plant Hardiness Zone Map
January 27, 2012 by Sherry
The USDA recently updated the Plant Hardiness Zone Map for the first time since 1990, and although it didn’t change in our area (still Zone 7a), gardeners across the country may find themselves in a new hardiness zone. Click the image to go see if your zone has changed:

I am having a hard time reading that… we are in the northwest corner of Montana. Dark blue to light blue which is because of Flathead lake…
Christine, sorry, that was my fault, I published the post before getting the link on there. Click on the image and it will go to a much bigger map, and a place where you can put in your zip code to see your zone.
Hi Sherry,
I read about the new plant hardiness map in our local paper. I did click on your image and put in my zip. My zone has not changed either. But I know a lot of zones have been getting warmer and supporting plants that did not grow in that zone before.
