After nearly a month of torrential rains here and cooler windy weather for the past couple of days, a lot of the leaves have already fallen. There is lot of green still left in the mountains but in the sunniest areas, the leaves are bright and pretty. These photos were all taken from my yard. Click on any photo to enlarge.

I feel fortunate that you come inside at least for a little while to post these fantastic fall colors for those of us who are living in a poverty of frozen leaves right now! Splendid!
Thanks, Christine. Glad you enjoyed the photos. It is much cooler here lately too, no frost or freeze yet though so the leaves are still very pretty. It is a good time to be outside.
The first picture is just amazing. The height of the trees and the blue of the sky really set it off. Such pretty and varied colors you have in your area!
Thanks, Louise. The tall white and gray poplar trunks make a nice contrast to all that color.
You have some wonderful shots here. I love the colors!
Thank you, Brian. It’s definitely a pretty time of year here.
