gazebo with flower boxes filledWe bought a new gazebo and I am loving it! It is a 12′ octagon shape with a cupola, two flower boxes, and a lot of detailed trim. We had it delivered a few days before the Memorial Day weekend, and have been so busy lately planting flowers and landscaping around it. It sits near one end of the secret garden and looks as if we planned it this way. We didn’t. :) The stone pathways we created were originally intended to meander through this shady border at the edge of the woods but now the path leads to the steps of this gazebo, my new favorite place to sit. I have a very closeup view of the bird feeders on one side, a small view of the lake through the trees on another, the secret garden in front and woods surrounding the entire area. We moved patio furniture, plants, and a chiminea (with candles) into it and still have to stain the steps to match the gazebo and finish up the landscaping around it. I have already spent a lot of time in it and am enjoying it very much!
