You’ve done a superb job of capturing those rays! This really is a very dynamic image.
So, they call the Mountain Laurel “Ivy” in Southern Appalachia? I know about the rhododendron being “laurel”, but I didn’t know about the “ivy.” Thanks for educating me.

lol, yes, we call the laurel “ivy”, and when I hear “laurel” I think of the big leaved shrubs that make the tangled thickets here. Interesting how different areas have different names for these shrubs, isn’t it? :)
