Tufted titmice have nested in an old birdfeeder in the secret garden. Both the male and the female work continuously, feeding the babies. Yesterday, while I stood near the tree with the feeder taking these photos, the female chattered and fussed overhead. The two babies were curious and kept peeking out of the house at me. Looks like they are almost ready to fly. :) In the photo at left, the mother bird delivers a caterpillar to her babies. Click on any photo to view a larger version.
