After more than 97.5 million votes last night, YES!, DAVID COOK is the new American Idol! :)
Archuleta received 44% of the vote and Cook received 56%. I’m so happy for him, I really believe he deserved the win tonite, and I think he will have much success! Good luck to David Archuleta as well!
I’m not going to review the two hour finale tonite, but I will say this, the coolest performance on the show tonite was David Cook performing “Sharp Dressed Man” with ZZ Top. It was awesome! :)

Oh I agree with all of that! David C. REALLY deserved to win I dunno I guess David A’s music just wasn’t rock enough hehe :)

randomspazmatron, I think his win was definitely well-deserved. I really enjoyed all of his performances! I agree with what you said — I prefer rock music over David A’s style.. :)
