In addition to all the wildflowers, I have many things in bloom right now, including pinks of all colors, kerria, blueberry bushes, ajuga, and red honeysuckle vines. The hostas, alliums, and the lilies are a foot tall or more. The spicebush trees have already bloomed, and the dogwoods are just starting. The tulips and the white baby’s breath and bridal wreath spireas are about over with for this year. Our weather, for the most part, has been great lately with temps in the mid-80s and lots of sunshine and blue skies, but we have also had a lot of very heavy thunderstorms here this past week. It has felt more like early summer instead of early spring.. but, it is windy today and our weather is supposed to turn much cooler over the next few days. I sure hope we don’t have any frost.
