What a difference a day makes

After the warm spring weather and flooding rains earlier this week, the weather today made me feel about like this daffodil looks:

daffodils drooping from the cold and ice

We went from temps in the 70s with rain and thunderstorms all week to 31 degrees by late evening today (and even lower are temps expected tonite) with high winds, and icicles.. I hate this weather! I’m ready for spring!

So, how’s your weather?

That’s to bad, I hope that the cold temps tonight doesn’t kill off a lot of the flowers and such that have already came up… That’s not something I need to worry about around here as everything is still hibernating… No snow in the past week here and they’re calling for temps to reach the low 40s by the end of this coming week but of course it’ll be raining…

Hi Spider, thankfully it didn’t get as cold as forecast and I don’t think there was much damage at all. I’m glad to hear that your weather is at least getting -a little- warmer.. and rain is better than more snow! :) I’ll be so glad when spring gets here and the frost danger is completely past!

Sherry, the same thing happened here. From 70 last week to 22 on Sunday morning. Yuk. No ice, though. It’s beginning to warm up again. Spring is winning.

By the way, I LOVE that icicle photo! Bravo!

Hi Mary, don’t you hate this crazy weather? Wow, 70 to 22.. I hate it. I wish it would just get warm now and stay warm!

Thank you, the icicle looked so strange with the blue sky and the sunshine in the background. I took about a dozen photos of it! lol
