Our elderly cat Abby died this past weekend. She was another stray that came here about 8 years ago, she was an outdoor cat and stayed on our front porch most of the time. She had always had health problems but we took care of her for years, and she got to live a good long life. She died peacefully in her sleep late Saturday night. It seems so strange now to go out onto the porch and not see her there. We’ll miss her.
